Kim Schmidt
Lead Stylist, Licensed Cosmetologist
Kim joined Curl Up and Dye Salon & Spa in 2010 and has been sharing her creativity and passion for hair ever since. She loves working with color, from subtle transformations to bold statements, and finds it rewarding to see the smiles her work brings to her clients’ lives. Fashion colors and vivids are her specialty, and she also offers professional extensions—including hand sewn extensions—to give clients added length, volume, and versatility. Kim’s goal is always to help each guest feel confident and beautiful in their own style.
Kayla Mangine
Stylist, Licensed Cosmetologist
Kayla joined Curl Up and Dye Salon & Spa in 2021 and quickly became known for her upbeat personality and sense of humor that makes every appointment fun and welcoming. With a passion for precision and detail, she specializes in barbering and lash extensions, creating sharp, polished styles and eye-enhancing looks. Kayla has also expanded her services to include lash lifts and tints, giving clients even more ways to highlight their natural beauty. She loves building genuine connections with her guests while helping them look and feel their best.
Alexis Capen
Apprentice, Licensed Cosmetologist
Alexis is a licensed cosmetologist and a valued apprentice here at the salon. She is currently continuing her education and honing her skills under the guidance of salon owner Vicki. With a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for the beauty industry, she is dedicated to expanding her skills and knowledge every day. Alexis is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and brings a kind, friendly presence to the salon. She’s excited to continue building her career and learning from every experience behind the chair.

Ella Goudy
Junior Stylist, Licensed Cosmetologist
Ella joined the salon team in 2024. She is a Licensed Cosmetologist who is finishing her assistant program under Vicki’s guidance and is now excited to build her clientele at Curl Up and Dye Salon & Spa. Passionate about learning and growing in the beauty industry, she brings fresh creativity and dedication to every service. Ella offers scissor cuts, wash and styles, color services, facial sugaring/waxing, and scalp facials made extra special by her amazing, relaxing shampoos. With her warm personality and eagerness to stay on top of the latest trends, Ella is committed to providing each guest with a professional, comfortable, and confidence-boosting experience.
Vicki Lockhart
Salon Owner, Licensed Cosmetologist & Certified Yoga Instructor

Vicki began her hair career at the age of 14 and has worn many hats in the beauty industry—including assistant, nail technician, makeup artist, and model—before opening her own salon, Curl Up and Dye Salon & Spa, in 2004. With years of experience and a true passion for her craft, Vicki specializes in highlighting and creative color techniques that transform her clients’ hair. She also offers relaxing facials, scalp facials, and her newest indulgence: soothing scalp massages that leave guests feeling refreshed and pampered from head to toe. Beyond the salon chair, Vicki is a certified yoga instructor, offering Friday night yoga classes at the salon to help clients cultivate wellness, balance, and relaxation. Her mission is to blend artistry, self-care, and personalized attention so every guest leaves feeling confident, beautiful, and rejuvenated.
